Five gites in Brittany
Relax and unwind in a French holiday cottage (gite), set in beautiful Brittany. La Lohuas Gites in Brittany is surrounded by rolling fields and wooded countryside making this the perfect location to start any holiday. Our farmhouse cottages are amazingly spacious and have been sympathetically modernised to give you practical and beautiful accommodation.
Each of the self-catering holiday cottages are situated in a courtyard around the main house. They are all constructed with traditional Breton stone walls under a slate roof, helping to keep them cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Each gite has their own terrace with patio furniture and barbeque. Each gite has been extensively modernised and refurbished to a very high standard. All the gites have newly fitted kitchens including oven, gas hob and microwave oven.
Abricot Gite
Abricot gite - Sleeps 7 people
A large three bedroomed gite with one double room, one twin room and a one with bunk bed and single bed. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and there is a separate bathroom with bath.
Downstairs has high oak beamed ceilings, and open plan kitchen with dishwasher. There is a downstairs toilet and wash basin. The living space offers a dining table and a very comfortable sofa and armchairs.
Cerise Gite
Cerise gite - Sleeps 6 people
Cerise is a spacious three bedroomed gite with one double room and two twin rooms. The double room has an en-suite shower room and there is a separate family shower room. A large open plan downstairs with lounge, dining area and a fitted kitchen area, allowing meals to be prepared in a relaxed sociable environment.
Fraise Gite
Fraise gite - Sleeps 6 people
A generous three bedroomed gite with a beautiful high oak-beamed lounge and a separate kitchen/dining room; also on the ground floor is an bedroom providing wheelchair access with a wet-room type ensuite. There are two bedrooms upstairs. A double bedroom with en-suite shower and a twin room with en-suite bathroom.
Poire Gite
Poire gite - Sleeps 4 people
Poire is a two bedroomed gite with a large lounge area and a separate kitchen/dining room, upstairs is one double room and one twin room each with en-suite shower rooms.
Converted from the former stables of the farm, this gite offers character in the form of high oak beamed ceilings and spacious accomodation. The lounge has a sofa and chairs for comfortable and relaxing evenings.
Pomme Gite
Pomme gite - Sleeps 4 people
Pomme is a two bedroomed gite with one double room and one twin room, there is a newly fitted kitchen and separate lounge/dining room. A downstairs bathroom is equipped with WC, basin and shower.
General
All the gites are thoroughly cleaned and prepared prior to each letting. When we prepare the gites for our guests, we pride ourselves in our presentation, cleanliness and attention to detail.
The gites are all fully equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible, with kitchens containing coffee maker, toaster, kettle, microwave and fridge. There are facilities for a cot and highchair on request.
A welcome hamper is provided in each gite for the start of your holiday, containing bottled water, wine, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, bread, butter and croissants. Home produced free range eggs are also available.
There is a laundry room with free use of washing machines, washing lines and pegs. This area is also used to store leaflets on tourist attractions in the area and a detailed map of the locality showing where most the attractions are situated. We supply daily weather forecasts and tide timetables so that you can plan your days effectively.
