Travel options from the UK to France
One of the easiest ways to get to France is by car via the cross-channel ferries. With the advent of low-cost airlines an alternative would be to fly, the nearest airport being Dinard. You don't have to bring your own car, as car rental is quite cheap. Flying or coming as a foot passenger then hiring a car may be less expensive and quicker, especially in the low season.
An advantage of travelling by car is the ability to purchase inexpensive wine and beer, just don't forget to leave room for the passengers.
